The First Spark

The First Spark is our welcoming event, and the whole platform is free while it runs! Write a brand new book in a new world between August 1 and October 31. The three books that win the community over earn their writers $100 each, credited to their wallet. How winning works: growth from real readers. Follows count when they come from people who genuinely read your work. Follow trades, bots, and vote rings do not count and will disqualify an entry. To be eligible, a book needs at least 10 submitted story events by the closing date. Winners are announced October 31, the same day payments open across Spark of Tales, and prizes are granted after a short review period of up to five days. The stretch goals below grow the prize pool as the community grows. Light the first spark! : )
